Volodymyr Yavorivsky, the Chairman of the Committee on Culture and Spirituality, and Pavlo Movchan, the Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Creative Activity, Arts and Cultural Policy, met Sergiu Stati, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to Ukraine, and Artur Cozma, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Moldova

During the meeting the Parties discussed the issues concerning cultural cooperation between Ukraine and Moldova. The participants defined key orientation of cooperation in the fields of cinematography, preservation of ethnical and language identity of Ukrainian and Moldavian diaspora.

The Parties also discussed intensification of inter-parliamentary liaison between the Committees on culture of Ukrainian and Moldavian parliaments.
